Nurture: Giving Grace

How are we nurturing the stronger person we’ve become?

Writing to you in hopes that you are giving yourself grace throughout this time we’re experiencing together. When I say grace I mean the patience, love, and encouragement you give to others. This can come in many forms and that’s the beauty of creating your unique self care routines: they always change and adapt, just as you do, to the current season of life you’re shining in. That inner strength that has kept you resilient despite your circumstances is something to be proud of and celebrate often.

Morning and evening rituals to bring you peace, you deserve.

Seasonally, it’s such a beautiful time to refresh your morning and evening rituals to bring you the peace you deserve everyday. Maybe your outlets are reading, journaling, making playlists, prioritizing leisure, being your own live-in barista, or repeating affirmations that help you stand in your power. Filling up your cup even when you can’t find the energy and rising from habits that no longer serve you sets an example that helps so many around you want to give themselves the love they see you allowing yourself to receive... and we love to see it! Also finding BIPOC/POC brands to support and incorporate into your wellness routines is the kind of energy we are bringing into this year and beyond. My favorites are Cocokind and The Honey Pot co (both are available on Urbanoutfitters.com).

Each month I write for Urban outfitters diversity and inclusion COMMITTEE, where we have transparent conversations about all things self care.
