ACTIVISM THROUGH ART

There is no creativity without equity and access. No child can create to their true potential without access to nourishment and education. This systemic truth was what inspired me to bring these two communities together. I admire the work Ma aTee Community Fridge Project does for the Philadelphia community in the fight against food disparity and actively support their mission that had fed over 200,000 neighbors so far through monthly volunteering and sponsoring 4 community fridges around the city. My newest partnership, merging Mama Tee Community Fridge Project and Mural Arts Philadelphia is beyond inspiring. These art students are empowering young leaders who express their activism through art making.
